My client was charged with felony domestic assault in Goodhue county.  After investigating the case, negotiating with the Goodhue County Attorney’s Office, the prosecution agreed to dismiss all assault charges and my client resolved his case with plea to a disorderly conduct.

State of Minnesota (Benton County) v. My Client

My Client was charged with a felony domestic assault and driving after revocation in Benton County.  The allegations against my client appeared misleading and questionable.  After negotiating with the Benton County Attorney’s Office, the prosecutor agreed to dismiss all charges against my client. Felony charges dismissed!

My client was parked outside a residence just prior to the police executing a search warrant. Mr. client was detained, questioned and searched in violation of her constitutional right to be free from unlawful, warrantless searches. As a criminal defense attorney in Scott County, I filed motions challenging the admissibility of evidence based on an unlawful search of my client. My client was facing a possible prison sentence, but ultimately, we convinced the prosecutor to suspend prosecution for one year with no jail and no fine.
